Community partnerships on JCC’s campuses

Jamestown Community College continues to develop impactful partnerships with fellow educational institutions and community organizations. Our collaborations strengthen how JCC can serve our communities and offer meaningful learning experiences.

Jamestown Campus

Cornell Cooperative Extension in Chautauqua is a JCC community partner focused on low-cost, high-quality programming in agriculture, youth development, and nutrition education.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Academy is a training program in partnership with JCC to provide graduates with up to 45 college credits and a certificate of completion from the NYS Certified Basic Police Training Course, which is a legal requirement for municipal police officers in NYS.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides New York business counseling and training in business plan development, financial planning, and marketing.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) at JCC prepares high school students to succeed in post-secondary education or training.

CC's Liberty Partnerships program supports middle and high school students preparing for college through a grant from the NYS Education Department.

The Goodwill of Western New York Goodskills Career Builder program offers targeted skills training for high-paying careers.

BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services) is a public education collaborative in New York that provides services that school districts may be too small to offer on their own or that would be more economical to offer collaboratively, sharing costs with other school districts.

Cattaraugus County Campus

The Small Business Development Center provides New York business counseling and training in business plan development, financial planning, and marketing.

The YMCA is committed to providing affordable, dependable, high-quality childcare services to JCC students, faculty, and staff through the YMCA Early Learning Center.

North County Center

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce focuses on the needs of a wide variety of local businesses.
